Susan Hanna Rau
Susan Hanna Rau has been painting for 32 years in the south Jersey area. She started working in Tole and Decorative painting. Ms. Rau decorated anything that was not tied down.
Ms. Rau paints endlessly on everything for the house and garden. She designs her own pieces using seashore themes and her love of flowers to create new and unusual works. Custom work is her specialty. Most recently, she has been working in watercolors. Still life and flowers remain a favorite painting theme.
Her work can be found at the Ocean City Art Center in Ocean City, NJ, at The Consortium on High Street in Millville, at the Ocean City Fine Arts League, and at the Riverfront Renaissance Art Center in Millville, NJ. Her work appeared at One in Nine exhibit, in support of Breast Cancer treatment programs, and at the Women Artists exhibit at the Garden Pier in Atlantic City, both which were juried shows.
